Justin Dwayne Joseph is an experienced digital media executive, content producer and journalist. He served as the first Editor-in-Chief of Digital Content and Strategy at the Recording Academy/GRAMMYs, helping guide the digital content transformation of the 60+ year old organization, and envisioning content that is representative of the academy’s various pillars and the diverse landscape of music and entertainment. During his tenure he created and developed several digital video series including the 2x TELLY Award winning documentary NO COVER: NIPSEY HUSSLE, and the TELLY Award-winning travel series ON LOCATION: LOS ANGELES

While at the Recording Academy he also created and executive produced TRANSCENDENT SOUNDS FEST, a streaming music festival featuring an all-star line-up of Trans recording artists and LGBTQIA+ activists.   

He previously held several senior management positions at ViacomCBS working for BET, Centric (formerly a network partnership between BET and VH1), and BET HER. He has also served as a music and style contributor to LogoTV’s NewNowNext.com and several other publications.
